A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to serve as President of the Plymouth County Bar Association for the coming year. I have been a member of the PCBA since I started practicing in 1982, and it has been an integral part of my professional career. As President, I hope to move this organization forward, and continue to build upon its rich history of service to the lawyers, court system, and community of Plymouth County.

Our Annual Meeting held at Thorny Lea Golf Club on December 10, 2009 was a great success. Our honorees this year included District Attorney Timothy Cruz, Judge George Asack, and Brockton District Court Clerk Magistrate Kevin Creedon. Well over 200 members and guests attended and a wonderful time was had by all. Please check out the photographs posted here on our webpage and on the bulletin board in the Lawyers' Lounge at the Brockton Courthouse.

I look forward to an eventful and productive year as President. Please stay tuned to our website and watch your mail and e-mail in the weeks and months ahead for announcements concerning our numerous educational seminars, social events and other PCBA activities and programs. And if you have any questions, comments or suggestions regarding the PCBA, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Arthur J. Hassett,
President, PCBA
